Welcome

Welcome to King’s Sutton Primary Academy.

At King's Sutton Primary Academy, we want our children to enjoy a safe and happy school life that offers the very best quality of education through a broad curriculum design that develops the whole character of the child. Our vision is that all of our children develop a deep sense of self-awareness and an awareness of others and we teach this through our five Core Values of Responsibility, Respect, Ambition, Courage and Pride.  These values enable all of our children to take their place as responsible citizens, who care for themselves and those around them, in a modern-day British society. Through collaborative working, children learn leadership skills and how to work effectively together to achieve common and personal goals. We support all children to develop independence through carefully planned scaffolding, allowing all children to make progress and develop their self-esteem. Personal and social skills as well as academic skills are at the heart of what we deliver as we offer a holistic approach to each child's development.

We are a warm and welcoming village school with community at its heart. Each child here is valued as an individual; supportive staff nurture the children on their learning journey, helping to develop children’s confidence in their own abilities and enabling them to reach their full potential in all areas of life and development.

We have a thriving mainstream school with four classes: an Early Years Reception class with a maximum of 15 pupils and 3 mixed age mainstream classes: Years 1 & 2, Years 3 & 4 and Years 5 & 6, with maximum class sizes of 30 pupils. We also have two small classes for pupils with a diagnosis of Autism and an Education, Health and Care Plan. In these classes there is a maximum of 10 pupils per class.
