Termly competition

At KSPA we know that a good mathematician requires many skills: curiosity, resourcefulness, resilience and collaboration to name a few. We believe that everyone can become a mathematics master and are therefore launching a termly competition which focuses on these core skills. Each term an open-ended, investigative task will be set for EYFS, KS1, lower KS2 and upper KS2 which encourage mathematical thinking alongside the skills necessary to become a mathematics master.  

 

This is an optional activity which we hope many of the children will enjoy! If you require a paper copy of the activity, please contact your child's class teacher. All entries should be submit to your child’s class teacher who will pass this to Miss Buckland (maths co-ordinator). 

 

Certificates will be awarded for participation and prizes for best effort as well as an overall winner for each category…. Best of luck!
