Prime7 Multi Academy Trust is made up of three primary schools: Middleton Cheney Primary Academy, King’s Sutton Primary Academy and Chipping Warden Primary Academy.

Although our schools are different in size, character and the communities they serve, we believe strongly that we are better when we work together. Being part of Prime7 means sharing expertise, supporting one another and creating opportunities for children and staff that individual schools may not always be able to provide alone.

At the same time, we do not want our schools to all look and feel the same. Each school has its own identity, community and strengths, and we are proud of that. Our approach is about finding the right balance between being individual schools and benefiting from being part of one Trust.

Our ambition is simple: to provide the very best education and opportunities we can for every child across Prime7.

We have high expectations for our children, but education is about much more than academic results. We want children to enjoy coming to school, feel safe and valued, develop confidence and independence, and learn how to deal with the challenges that life will inevitably bring.

Inclusion is central to this. Children are individuals and do not all learn, communicate or develop in the same way. Across Prime7 we continue to develop our expertise and provision so that staff have the skills, confidence and support to meet an increasingly wide range of needs. We want every child to feel that they belong, while maintaining high expectations for what they can achieve.

We also know that great schools depend upon great people. We want Prime7 to be somewhere staff enjoy working, where people feel trusted and valued and where they have opportunities to learn, develop and share their expertise. Increasingly, our staff work across schools, learn from each other and solve problems together. That collaboration is one of the real strengths of being part of Prime7.

Parents and families are equally important partners. We will not always get everything right, but we want relationships across our communities to be based on openness, trust and respectful conversation. When schools and families work together, children benefit.

Our Values

Our seven values were drawn together from our schools and describe the kind of Trust we want Prime7 to be. They are not simply words on a website; they should be visible in how we work with our children, our families, our staff and each other.

AMBITION
We have high expectations for ourselves and for every child. We want everyone across Prime7 to keep learning, developing and improving. We encourage our children to aim high and believe in what they can achieve.

ENJOYMENT
School should be an exciting and enjoyable place to be. We want our children to be curious, creative and enthusiastic learners who benefit from a broad range of experiences, opportunities and enrichment throughout their time with us.

RESILIENCE
Life does not always go according to plan. We want children to develop the confidence and strategies they need to overcome difficulties, solve problems and keep going when something is challenging. We encourage them to have a go, take appropriate risks in their learning and understand that mistakes are an important part of learning.

RESPECT
Kindness, good manners and respect for others matter. We expect children and adults to treat one another with respect and to understand that everyone has responsibilities as well as rights. We want our children to show empathy, appreciate difference and respect their community and the wider world around them.

INSPIRE
We want children to be inspired by their learning and by the people around them. Our job is to open doors, create opportunities and help children discover what they are capable of. In turn, we want our children to become positive role models who inspire others.

COMMUNITY
Our schools should be at the heart of the communities they serve. Each Prime7 school has its own identity and history, and we value this enormously. At the same time, each school is part of something bigger. We want children, families, staff, governors and our wider communities to feel that they belong and can contribute.

TRUST
Trust sits at the heart of everything we do. Strong relationships depend upon honesty, openness and people doing what they say they will do. We want children to trust the adults around them, parents to trust our schools and staff to trust and support one another. Being part of a team and knowing that others will support you is a fundamental part of Prime7.

Moving Forward Together

Prime7 has developed significantly over recent years, and we will continue to do so. We are strengthening inclusion, investing in our staff, developing opportunities across our schools and working more closely together so that expertise and good practice are shared rather than sitting within one school.

We will continue to challenge ourselves and ask what we can do better. We will listen to our children, staff, parents and communities, while making decisions based on what we believe is in the best interests of children.

Ultimately, our aim is not complicated. We want three great schools, supported by one strong Trust, where children are happy, included, challenged and inspired; where staff are proud to work; and where families know that we genuinely want the very best for their children.

Our seven values - Ambition, Enjoyment, Resilience, Respect, Inspire, Community and Trust provide the foundation for achieving that together.
