  • House Art Day

Fri 13 May 2022 Nikki Ward

Today children worked in their school houses of WATT, SCOTT, FARADAY and PARKS, with each group focussing on a different word from our motto: KINDNESS, SAFETY, PRIDE and ATTITUDE to create a beautiful piece of artwork which we will display in our school hall. The children had a super day and we are really proud of the work that they have created!

  • Ofsted Report

Tue 10 May 2022 Nicola Kent

We are absolutely delighted to share the most recent Ofsted report that has judged the school to be GOOD. This is fantastic for the whole school community and really is a remarkable achievement given the context of the pandemic. The staff team, supported by the Governors and the Trustees, have worked tirelessly to improve the provision for the children and this has been recognised by Ofsted. There are so many aspects of the report that we would like to draw your attention to but here are just a few.

    What pupils said:

“We all look after each other and care about our school. We want to learn”

“All staff care about pupils and this is one of the best things about the school”

    What Ofsted said:

“Teachers have high expectations of what all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), will know and be able to do”

“Teachers are more ambitious about what all pupils will know. They change their teaching to help pupils with SEND learn better. Right from the start, pupils’ individual needs are identified, and the right support put in place”

“Pupils play together well. They enjoy being active and taking part in inter-school sporting competitions. They can explain how the school’s motto of ‘Kindness, Safety, Pride and Attitude’ helps them to live well together”

The areas for us to work on are based around further development of the curriculum.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the staff, children and to all of you for your ongoing support.

  • Talk Send

Fri 06 May 2022 Nikki Ward

This week we enjoyed our first PRIME7 “TALK SEND” coffee morning. It was great to see parents of children with SEND, who attend one of our schools, join us at Chipping Warden Primary Academy.

Not only did we enjoy some lovely cake made by Lesleyanne. We got to meet the creator of Northamptonshire’s Local offer website; Kathy Forsdyke. She gave us a whistle stop tour of the site and explained how best to search for local services. Kathy’s advice was to use the key word search on the local offer website. Have a look yourself here.

Kathy also introduced us to the local SEND magazine SNIX, which was filled with useful information and adverts for local SEND friendly groups and activities.  If you would like to subscribe to the magazine, please click here.

Our next TALK SEND event will be held at 2:00pm on 8th July at Middleton Cheney Primary Academy.

  • World Autism Awareness Day

    Fri 22 Apr 2022 Teona Yardley-Barnes

Did you know that one in 100 children are autistic and that we have autistic children here in our school? I am sure you appreciate how tough life can be for them and their families. Next Monday, I will be promoting the acceptance of autism in our whole school assembly. I hope this will be a small step towards improving the daily lives of our children and their parents/ within our school community.

At the end of the school day, on the front playground (weather permitting) we will be holding a World Autism Awareness Day Cake Sale raising funds for a local Charity EN-FOLD whose support for some of our parents is invaluable. We will gratefully accept any donations of cakes/chocolate/left over Easter eggs for our sale on Monday 25th April 2022.

Let’s celebrate the wonderful diversity we have at our school! Thank you so much.

  • Keen to be Green

Sun 03 Apr 2022 Nikki Ward

Our Owls class are currently studying recycling as part of their Geography unit to create a cleaner, greener local community. They decided that a questionnaire would be a good way to gather information about the local area and how we can make King's Sutton cleaner and greener.
The children have chosen the questions and ask that you please complete them as honestly as possible. To complete the questionnaire, please follow the link:

  • Congratulations to all at KSPA

Fri 12 Mar 2021 Rachel Gallyot

Well done to Mrs Kent and her team at KSPA on this really positive Ofsted report which also recognised the success of collaborative working across the schools in the Trust. With this second, excellent monitoring visit report, the school is well on its way to GOOD!

At Prime7 we are so proud of all of the staff that have worked so hard across all of the schools in the MAT over this period of lockdown and this report recognises the successes of the offer.

    Congratulations KSPA!

  • Beautiful Books!!

Tue 24 Nov 2020 Nikki Ward

We are VERY excited to announce the arrival of over £1000 of books (some of which are in these pictures). These books have been ordered using ‘commission money’ raised from previous book fairs, so a BIG thank you for your support. The books have been purchased and will be used to revitalise our ‘classroom libraries’. These lovely new books will be delivered to classrooms this week and we know the children will be excited to read them!!
